To register as a member of the FAU Network, please fill out the form on this page. Participation is free of charge and is open to anyone who has studied, taught, researched, or otherwise worked at the FAU. All those who are currently studying or working at the University are also invited.

In the FAU Community you can make contact with former fellow students, join together in groups, manage your own member profile, find out about news and expertise from FAU and much more. By registering, you automatically become part of the faculty/department group belonging to your department. FAU alumni are automatically part of the "FAU Alumni Network" group.

Registration notes:
Profile status "Hidden"
To make your profile in the FAU Community undiscoverable to others, please select the "Hidden" option under "Profile status". In this case, only you and the administrators can see your profile. However, you will not be able to search or view the profiles of other members.
Profile status "Discoverable to other members"
If you set your profile as "Discoverable", you can still select which of your data should be visible or invisible to other users (lock icon closed = data hidden, lock icon opened = data visible to other users). Only the visibility of the basic data "first name", "last name" and "FAU relationship" can’t be changed by you. These data can always be found for profile status "Discoverable" for the other members.

Your data is subject to German data protection regulations and EU-DSGVO. We kindly ask you to carefully read our privacy policy and the conditions of use of the portal.
Good to know: Alumni are automatically part of the "FAU Alumni Network" group and benefit from a wide range of advantages.
